The firm’s managing attorney is Robert Freedman. Mr. Freedman’s background includes over 10 years managing a multi-million-dollar corporation, 30 years as an equity partner in a large litigation and transaction law firm, and five years private practice. His business experience includes product development, manufacturing, marketing sales and distribution. His legal experience includes individual and commercial transactions and litigation in California, Washington State, and District of Columbia. The firm’s executive assistant is Cathy Zelinka, who also has over thirty years of combined business and legal administrative experience.

Mission: We provide a select group of clients with innovative solutions and responsive service. We care about our clients and provide them the highest quality legal services. This includes building upon our business and legal experience, as well as our integrated, multidisciplinary practice background. As a result, we are an instrumental part of each client’s success and have a long-term partnering relationship with them.
Philosophy: The real-world of a lawyer is problem solving. For both litigation and transactions, we remain objective, analyze issues from differing perspectives, partner with clients to develop strategies, and get the work done cost-effectively and with personal attention. We partner with our clients to learn about their business, their industry, their people, and their goals. We investigate the other parties involved to identify their strengths and weaknesses and what they want to accomplish. We gather the facts and determine good business practices and legal theories. We then analyze all of it, consult with the client, and develop a strategic plan to accomplish the client’s goals.

As a boutique law firm, while we handle certain matters ourselves, we are well connected in the legal community and know where to find the right specialized attorneys, experts, and neutrals for our clients. We are available to assist our clients in working with other professionals and we are accredited in litigation management to help keep matters and their costs on track. In short, creating a plan is one thing, executing it is another.
Results Matter: Every assignment starts with the following question, whether it is for a business transaction or litigation: What is the client’s goal? We then partner with our clients and employ creative and pragmatic strategies and benchmarks designed to provide value and obtain the desired objectives.
